Material: 114 mm profile wood windows are made of natural wood, which gives them a warm, aesthetic appearance. The wood used for these windows is usually of high quality and can be of exotic or native origin, such as oak, pine, or meranti. Construction: 114 mm wide profiles provide a solid and stable window structure. Thicker profiles allow for increased strength and stability of the window, which contributes to its durability and resistance to deformation. Thermal insulation: Although wood itself is not the best thermal insulator, windows with 114 mm profiles can be equipped with special thermal insulating inserts or additional insulating layers, which improves the insulating performance of the windows. This can minimize heat loss and reduce heating bills. Sound insulation: wood, due to its density, is a good material for sound insulation. Wooden windows with a 114 mm profile can therefore effectively reduce the transmission of noise from outside into the interior, which affects the acoustic comfort inside the building. Security: wooden windows are usually equipped with robust hardware systems and additional burglary protection, which increases the safety of the occupants. A profile with a larger width, such as 114 mm, can further strengthen the window structure, making burglary attempts more difficult. Aesthetics: windows with a 114 mm profile are characterized by an elegant and classic appearance, which suits various architectural styles. Wide profiles can be further decorated with carvings or other decorative elements, which adds to their charm and character. WEATHER RESISTANCE: The wood used for wood windows is usually properly treated against the weather, making the windows resistant to moisture, rain, snow and UV radiation. Regular maintenance of the wood can further extend the life of the windows. Ease of maintenance: Wood windows require regular maintenance, in the form of painting or varnishing, to maintain their aesthetics and functionality for years to come. Maintenance also involves keeping the seals and hardware clean to ensure the window functions properly. Wooden windows with a 114 mm profile are an excellent choice for those who value traditional appearance, natural materials and high quality workmanship. Thanks to their technical and aesthetic properties, they are an attractive solution for various types of buildings, both residential and commercial.
