Material: 140 mm profile windows are made of natural wood, which gives them a warm and aesthetically pleasing appearance. The wood used for these windows is usually of high quality and can be of exotic or native origin, such as oak, pine, or meranti. Construction: 140 mm wide profile provides a solid and stable window structure. Thicker profiles increase the strength of the window, which affects its durability and resistance to deformation. The design also allows for larger glazing, allowing more natural light to flow into the room. Thermal insulation: windows with a 140 mm profile can be equipped with additional insulating layers or thermal insulation inserts, which allows improving the insulating performance of the windows. This can minimize heat loss and reduce heating bills. Acoustic insulation: a design with a wider width can also have a positive effect on the window’s acoustic insulation, reducing the penetration of noise from outside into the interior. This solution can be particularly important if you are exposed to outside noise. Security: wooden windows with a 140 mm profile can be equipped with robust hardware systems and additional anti-burglary features, increasing the safety of the occupants. Thicker profiles can further strengthen the window structure, making burglary attempts more difficult. Aesthetics: 140 mm thick wide profiles give the windows a solid and elegant look that matches a variety of architectural styles. A variety of color and finish options are available, allowing the windows to match customers’ individual aesthetic preferences. WEATHER RESISTANCE: The wood used in the manufacture of wood windows is usually properly weatherproofed, making the windows resistant to moisture, rain, snow and UV radiation. Properly protected profiles can maintain their appearance and functionality for many years. Ease of maintenance: Wooden windows with a 140 mm profile require regular maintenance, in the form of painting or varnishing, to maintain their aesthetics and functionality for many years. Maintenance also involves keeping the seals and hardware clean to ensure the window functions properly. Wooden windows with a 140 mm profile are an excellent choice for those looking for solid, durable and aesthetically pleasing windows that also provide high thermal and acoustic insulation. Thanks to their technical and aesthetic properties, they are an attractive solution for various types of buildings, both residential and commercial.
