New windows, old style
Laren, where our client's property is located, is a typical example of an old Dutch village. This architectural style is unmistakable and has its own unique charm. However, time passes inexorably and puts even the most decent windows to the test. Over the years, they cease to fulfill their practical function and become a charming nuisance for residents. This is precisely the sign that it is time to replace the windows with new ones. But don't worry, this does not at all mean that they have to lose their original appearance. We have already proved more than once that it is possible to combine modern technology with the charm of old, antique windows. It was no different in this case either.
All or nothing
Our client had clear requirements for this project. He was looking for a company that would replace all the windows in his house in one go, plus create a replica of his old front door. He couldn't have come at a better time! Within 8 days his house got a whole new look. We installed windows that were classic in appearance, but met the highest insulation standards. In addition, on the outside we used additional wooden slats, which gave the windows a more consistent look. Although windows with muntins are often our favorite part of projects, as they have their own unique charm, this time it was the doors that stole our hearts. After installing them, we are not at all surprised that the client wanted to create an exact replica of the original! They fit perfectly into the character of the building and make the whole thing look unique.
Country-style windows
Old houses have their own charm and unique architectural style. We have to admit that they evoke idyllic rural landscapes with their appearance and have something that makes them extremely cozy. However, aesthetics does not always go hand in hand with functionality, which is perfectly illustrated by old windows. Although the frames fit perfectly into the character of the house, the parameters of the windows leave much to be desired and significantly deviate from current standards. However, there is a way around this, as we proved during this project. At our client's home, we used state-of-the-art windows with high thermal insulation parameters, and additionally used special glazing bars that perfectly reflected the rural style of the windows.
Windows that truly match your style
We often emphasize the fact that in our company we carry out individual customer projects. In our projects, we can customize the appearance of the frames, the color of the windows and create a customized product. The best proof of this is this realization. Although it would seem that there is nothing extraordinary about it, it is worth noting the color scheme. In this case, both the frames and the sashes on the outside, as well as on the inside, have completely different colors. We must admit that such designs are extremely rare, but this was the customer's idea, so we trusted him and realized this unusual order without any problems. The final result? See for yourself!
